*footnote : Can racist people be shot away? I hate deleting racist comments. I hate racist people. Even NTBN.wordpress.com had a post condemning racist post on certain website. Can't the webmaster of that certain website remove it? I already inform you to take it off kan? Its not a confirmed news..so why still put it there? And why in such a way? eeeee!

can we stop the rumours?

Okay, i thought I can be offline tonight and get some rest. But this issue is just disturbing me too much. Congrats to all who made it to KL and Batu Caves today. Yes, for the very first time Indian Malaysians managed to come together despite all the problems. Imagine, 3 days of police intimidation, media 'propaganda' of instilling fear and a very-rare court order injunction. All this and yet we have no less than 20,000 Indians flocking the KLCC area. Few thousand more were turned away in Klang , Skudai and other areas. So we beat the odd. CONGRATS! Be proud.
In fact, the impact was far greater than the BERSIH rally which saw 40,000 protesters. Because every other International media is picking this story and made it a news headline, showing how the police reacted and the level of democracy in this country. Cool. So we are done. We may not be able to HAND OVER the memo, but we managed to grab the needed attention. Done. Cool. Happy. Very Happy. Congrats! Claps Claps Claps.
4.32 PM : Those held for questioning was released unconditionally by the police, after the intervention from Bar Council lawyers. Everyone is released now, the youth who had his hand broken is sent to nearby hospital.
4PM : a youth in his 20s was beaten up badly, broken hand , and only given treatment after hours in detention! He was taken into custody and held at the Jalan Semarak police beat.
After 2Pm, when the crowd dispersed, police started to arrest any Indians within the KLCC vicinity , especially those who were having lunch at Pelita restaurant and Lotus Restaurant. Scores of people are being questioned now.
Its 2.50 PM now, at around 1PM HINDRAF leaders called for the crowds to disperse off peacefully. While the main group went off, there were still pockets of people still 'lepaking' around KLCC. KL today is filled with the Indian Malaysians, wet and with teary eyes.
Few buses that came in which was escorted to police station earlier is still being kept at Dang Wangi and Pusat latihan Polis, Jalan Semara. Our sources told that at the pusat latihan polis Setapak, nearly one thousand people are being stranded there due to questioning by the police and buses being held. Other smaller groups are elsewhere around KL.
Police reopened the Jalan Ampang which was closed earlier at around 1PM. All traffic are getting back to normal around KL, except for some normal delays.
